Wisteria Floribunda Wisteria Floribunda Ref: FOwis01

A classical sight in cottage gardens and countryside houses around the UK. This purple wisteria is a beautiful climber, with lovely scented flowers which appear from April to June. Wisteria is ideal for training into trees and covering walls, pergolas and other garden structures.

Although wisterias are usually grown as large climbers, it is possible to grow in containers, and train as a standard, making them suitable for a small garden.

Plants can dry out quickly, especially in a light or sandy soil, so keep plants well watered, particularly during dry periods or if grown in a container. Wisteria prefers a sunny position, but can be grown in slight shade. Prune well for a good flowering display the following year.
