This is a special variety of evergreen pampas grass from New Zealand, relatively short growing so suitable for smaller gardens. It has distinctive tall creamy-brown flower plumes. Provides an interesting and structural addition to the garden, and the feathery plumes look great in a vase or as part of a flower arrangement.

This is an early flowering variety, with main plumes appearing in July or late summer, just as other plants start to fade. Easy to grow in a variety of locations, drought and frost hardy.

A beautiful and delicate pink maple, fast growing and ideal as a specimen tree in a medium sized garden. Its delicate pink foliage is best in partial shade; otherwise direct summer sun may scorch the leaves. This plant can be grown as a tree or shrub.

We advise not to grow directly near a path or house as the roots are quite shallow, and it may require a sheltered or supported position while establishing itself. Fully hardy, and will tolerate most soil types. No pruning is required. Can grow up to 15m tall after 15 or 20 years.

Also known as the lily of the valley shrub, this hardy evergreen plant has thick, glossy, brilliant red young foliage, which matures into chestnut brown. In late spring, clusters of ivory bell-like flowers appear, giving the plant its unofficial name. The fierce red young leaves adds a focal interest point to a shady border.

Likes a moist, well-drained acid soil and shade from morning sun, and will tolerate full sun or partial shade. Remove faded flower-heads and frost damaged foliage in late spring.
